Delete your account

Your Sporit account belongs to the club or academy you joined. You can delete it yourself at any time, in the app or on the club's website, or ask us by email. Deletion takes effect at once and cannot be undone.

In the app

Open Profile, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. The app shows what will be deleted, asks you to type a confirmation word, and deletes the account there and then. This works for parents and for players aged 13 and over.

On your club's website

Every club on Sporit has the same page on its own website, at /account/delete (for example yourclub.com/account/delete). Sign in with your Sporit email and password; you will see the same preview and the same confirmation as in the app.

By email

If you can no longer sign in, write to us from the email address on the account and tell us the club's name and the full name on the account. We confirm it is you, delete the account within 30 days, and reply when it is done. We may ask the club to confirm the request.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Deleting a parent's account deletes the parent and the children on it; a child who also has another parent on Sporit stays with that parent.

  • Deleted: your name, email, phone number, password and photos; for each child, their account, photos, documents and login.
  • Enrollments end on the day you delete. The month you are in stays payable to the club.
  • Payment records are kept by the club without your name, as the law requires.

Who cannot delete from the app

  • A player under 13 has no account of their own to delete: their parent deletes it from the parent's app.
  • A coach's account is closed by the club's administrator, because the club's records refer to it.
